The pervasive digitization of contemporary society is undeniable. Following the widespread adoption of social media, digital worlds have emerged as a natural progression in the evolution of digital lifestyles. Previously, individuals crafted online personas; now, digital worlds serve as the medium through which these personas are brought to life, affording users the opportunity to mold their own universe.

According to projections by research firm Gartner, by 2026, a quarter of the global population is anticipated to dedicate at least one hour daily to activities within the metaverse. Moreover, metaverse technology platforms are poised to burgeon into a lucrative market, with estimates suggesting a valuation of $800 billion by 2024, as highlighted in a December 2021 Bloomberg report. Forecasts indicate that the metaverse economy will surpass $13 trillion USD by 2030, underscoring substantial growth potential.
