# Virtual Identity Framework

EAPES originated as a digital identity system through its foundational non-fungible token (NFT) collection. This original profile-based NFT collection establishes the visual and conceptual identity of the EAPES ecosystem and serves as a consistent reference point across platforms, applications, and digital environments.

Within the EAPES ecosystem, Virtual Identity represents the structural layer responsible for identity representation, brand coherence, and user association. It provides a unified identity model that connects digital assets, user interaction, and participation across applications and experiences developed within the ecosystem.

Preserving the integrity of the Virtual Identity framework is a core design principle. All platform features, extensions, and ecosystem developments are structured to remain aligned with the established identity model, ensuring continuity, recognizability, and consistency across the EAPES ecosystem.

This approach allows the ecosystem to evolve modularly while maintaining a stable and recognizable identity layer that supports long-term usability and interoperability.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://wp.eapes.com/whitepaper/ecosystem-architecture-framework/virtual-identity-framework.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
